Summary

According to Rainn, every 9 minutes, a child is raped. ┬аAs a survivor of child sexual abuse, I was inspired to create a program where youth survivor leaders like me educate children ages 4-17 on body autonomy, signs of sexual abuse, and how they can report an incident to someone they trust. ┬аWe also facilitate workshops for parents and caregivers to empower them with the tools and resources on how they can sustain these lessons in their homes to reduce cases of child sexual abuse in Kenya.
